We are also a short drive from several lakes and very close to thousands of acres of National Forest which provides hunting, trail riding, walking trails and great camping sites. You can also spend a delightful afternoon touring the many historic Ozark Mills in the area. We are blessed with many navigable streams forcanoeing and some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. Ava is also the home of the Missouri Fox Trotter's Association and each year hosts a jubilee which enables Fox Trotter owners and horse lovers to assemble and enjoy the festivities.
